Here's the scoop:
We have rented a 56 seat tour bus with a bathroom to take us to meet up our long lost friend Aimee Garlit at Dogfish Head. Once there we will break into two groups. The first group will get a guided one hour tour of the brewery starting at 10:30. The second group will begin their one hour tour at 11:00. We will all meet up at the tasting bar after both tours are complete.
After we drink all of Dogfish's beer, we are going to head over to Rehoboth Beach where we can have some eats and beer at Big Oyster Brewery, Fins Ale House or Dogfish Heads Brewhouse and Eats.
Here's the details:
7:30 - Meet at Philly Homebrew Outlet East in Fishtown (Coffee and Donuts will await your arrival)
8:00 - Bus departs for Delaware with or without you.
10:15 - Arrive at Dogfish Head Brewery
10:30 - First tour starts
11:00 - Second tour starts
1:30ish - Head over to Rehoboth Beach
4:00 - Depart Rehoboth Beach for home
6:15 - Arrive back at Philly Homebrew Outlet
This will be a pay as you go day for the beer and food you consume.
Philly Homebrew Club strongly encourages you to take public transportation or get a ride to/from Philly Homebrew Outlet, but if you are planning on driving home after the day is over, plan on a designated driver. Under no circumstances should you drink and drive.
