Register for the 12th annual Made on American Street BBQ and Homebrew competition!
Big changes for 2018! This year Made on American Street will be a MABA sanctioned event with an expert panel of KCBS judges. We will also be expanding the event to 2 blocks of N American Street in Philadelphia. This will give teams plenty of room for larger setups and trailers.
Paid entry includes:
- Entry for your crew of 2 team members. You may purchase up to 2 additional teammate tickets for $25 each
- Each ticket holder will receive an event glass and tasting tickets
- Access to unlimited free Homebrew samples
- A 25 x 20ft space to set up. An additional space can be purchased for an additional $50 (based on availability)
- Entry into the BBQ Ribs and Chicken competition
Rules and Guidelines:
- Setup begins at 6:00AM
- Competition meeting at 7:00AM
- Each team will be required to provide their own meat for competition entries. Ribs and chicken for public service will be provided by the Philadelphia Homebrew Club.
- Each team will be required to prepare a minimum of 10 racks of ribs for the event patrons.
- Each team will be provided with all items needed for service including spoons, forks, paper boats, napkins, etc. Any custom food service materials will be the responsibility of the competitor.
- Each team will be provided a non-divided, styrofoam, white serving tray for judging.
- Modified KCBS rules will apply for judging.
- Turn in time will be 1:00PM.
